In "812 Welch As Seen In Infrared", I capture parts of the interior and exterior of my apartment using infrared photography to produce a stop motion video. Infrared cameras capture infrared light, which humans cannot see. The resulting piece subverts a previous photographic series entitled "812 Welch". Due to the eerie infrared effect and constantly shifting focus, the piece has an uncomfortable, voyueristic feel. |
